Music Lessons Scholarships are available to eligible children and adults who have the desire to play a musical instrument but would otherwise not have the opportunity to take music lessons. Students wishing to receive music scholarships will start the process by completing and submitting an application form (below). Next, selected applicants will be invited to an informal interview with the screening committee, the members of which will screen for the level of interest, ability to meet the student requirements, and also screen the parent’s level of commitment (where a student is a minor) to the requirements including punctuality on arrival time and performance of daily practicing. All students will have the opportunity to practice performance skills at an annual recital. Advanced students, as part of their training, may become mentors to beginners.
Note: Ukulele registrations are still being accepted. All other instruments for summer classes are closed. Please call or text Katie 480-353-6670 with questions about being placed on a waiting list.
